Privacy notice
This page covers the public website only. Contracted municipal work is also subject to the municipality’s own privacy rules and to Ontario’s public-sector privacy statutes where they apply.
What we collect from this site
If you submit the concern form we collect your name, phone number, optional email, municipality, location of the issue, and the description you type. Server logs may include IP address, browser type, and the page requested.
Why
To open or refuse a dispatch file, to contact you if the location or facts are incomplete, and to keep a record of what was reported. We do not sell this information and we do not use it for advertising.
Sharing
A concern that falls under a municipal contract may be shared with the municipality and with the officer assigned. We will disclose information where required by law or to prevent serious harm.
Retention
Website form copies are kept only as long as needed to process the file and meet record obligations on the related municipal contract. Do not send health-card numbers, driver’s-licence images, or copies of other people’s identification through the form.
Access
Questions about personal information held because of a web submission can be directed to dispatch at (226) 910-1322. Identify the approximate date and the municipality so the file can be found.
